Hi, I’m Chrystina! Thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the internet. On both my blog, Chrystina Noel, and this podcast you will find blog posts about hosting parties, handmade greeting cards, and how to stay in touch with people you love. I am constantly emailing invitations to friends featuring my next great party idea, sending dozens of snail mail cards and packages at a time, and setting up phone calls with the amazing friends I’ve made around the country. The goal of this blog and podcast is to help hosting and staying in touch feel more approachable, to provide some party inspiration for folks who love to host parties, and to be able to google all of the parties I’ve had later so that I can see what I did the last time.

In this post, I talk about 10 tips for hosting a murder mystery party. It's super easy to buy a murder mystery kit to use that gives you character sheets, a plot line, and lays out how the event is going go, but there's still some tips to make it easier for both you AND your guests - especially if your guests have never done this before. Those tips are:

1. Read the answer first
2. Assign character roles carefully
3. Give your guests some background
4. Create a character map
5. Lay out the details on the invite
6. Introduce couples and confidants
7. Set the stage strategically
8. Make name tags
9. Run through the rules again
10. Facilitate and host the party

I'd love to hear about your experiences hosting murder mystery parties. You can comment on that, or read the full blog post, here.
